MEET LINDSEY “OUT THERE” BLAUFARB LinsdeyB was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She started off in musical theater and athletics, then later started hip hop dancing at the age of 16. She is inspired by her own members of the BEAT FREAKS, having admired them before joining the group. She has been on tour with Pink and choreographed/danced for Avril Lavigne. Because Lindsey pulls her randomly genius creative ideas from a wide range of experiences she has been called Outthere’ by many of her peers. This makes her an outstanding choreographer, dancer, singer and teacher.

MEET ALEXIS AVILA Alexis Avila started dancing when she was 16 years old at Artesia High School. As a child, Alexis was involved in Beauty Pagents and acting classes, but never took a dance class till after high school. Immediately addicted, Alexis was overwhelmed because learning new aspects of dance ignited a thirst in her that she couldn’t deny. A friend from Team Millennia advised her to audition for their upcoming tryouts, and although scared, Alexis knew she was up for the challenge. Alexis made the auditions that year, and remained on the team for three more years. It is here where she began to craft leadership experience as the Captain of TM Juniors, thriving as their leader for 2 years. Alexis eventually explored other groups over time, performing with Team Boogiezone Breed for over a year. She has also made the jump from Captain to Director, creating her own team called Sheroes, a group of strong-minded women whose focus is centered not only on dance, but also on service. Sheroes donates all funds they earn directly to various charities, among which include The Take A Stand foundation, and The Jennesse Center, a program dedicated to women who’ve suffered domestic Violence. Alexis eventually returned to the Team Millennia family, competing alongside her teammates (affectionately known as the “TM7″), for both Seasons 2 and 3 of MTV’s America ‘s Best Dance Crew. Kelley April Pahamotang, also known as “Kp,” is a professional trained hip hop dancer. As a young adult, KP started her dance career back in 2007 when she auditioned for her first dance team called “Teen Groov” who was directed by Former Breed/EDLA & Heavy Impact, Cj Edwards. She then also auditioned for her 1st upper division team called “Main Ingredient,” (Aug. 2008 – Dec. 2009) also directed by Cj Edwards, who became KP’s defined mentor and friend. At the same time, KP also was dancing for Boogiezone’s Jr. team called “Offspring,” directed by Elm Pizarro, Audrey Benson, & Ricky Cole. She wanted more growth, and experience with her career, which then led her to audition for GRV (Jan. 2010 – May. 2010). KP has trained with various choreographers and used Boogiezone as an outlet along with taking different classes at Debbie Reynolds, Millennium Dance Complex, & Jayvee Dance Center. KP is now currently a free lance dancer who continues to train in all different aspects of dance. She is also an intern for Movement Lifestyle helping market what ML is all about. MEET ANDREA THOMAS Andrea Thomas is an eighteen year old freshman at San Jose State University where she is majoring in dance. She was born and raised in San Jose. She first started dancing Jazz at the age of four, and didn’t start learning hip hop until the age of fourteen. Throughout the years of her life, she has experienced many different styles such as, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Ballet, Contemporary, Tribal, Tango, Swing, and Hip Hop. In 2005, she joined Future Shock San Jose; a non-profit youth outreach organization that is the youth group to Culture Shock, founded in 1993 by Angie Bunch. At first, she was the weakest member of her team and was always taking critiques from her dance directors and teammates. She took that criticism to heart and pushed herself to grasp the hip hop style aside from her jazz roots. Eventually, Andrea became dance captain of Future Shock San Jose, and joined other teams such as Booftroop and now currently VIP San Jose. In 2009, Andrea was asked to perform with America’s Best Dance Crew’s Season 2 winners, Super Crew, at Kenya Dance and PCN at Santa Clara High school. She was able to work with all of the members of the team and got to know them on and off the stage. Please welcome her as she teaches her very first Boogiezone class!

MEET NASH ALBIC Nash Albic is from switzerland (basel) and has been dancing 5 years. He’s danced by dance zone and some kazoom crew for 2 years and won some competitions, like Swiss Urban Dance. After this he wanted start to teaching by himself and create Aprash Dance Company in Switzwerland. He did a tour with Shaun Evaristo and Lando Wilkins.He started to travel last year in europe and did some workshops in Germany, Holland, Spain, Italy and France!

MEET TM7 Team Millennia 7 (TM7) based out of Fullerton, California appeared on both Season’s 2 & 3 of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew.Established in 1998, Team Millennia 7 is comprised of seven passionate,driven and versatile dancers whocarry on the traditions of class and professionalism. TM7 is a part of the Team Millennia family and is celebrating its 10th year as one of California’s premiere hip hop dance teams. MEET JUN QUEMADO An Oceanside native, Jun Quemado is a dancer and choreographer for Team Millennia. He contributes not only his dance ability, but his breakdance experience as well. Not knowing that his life would revolve around a dancing community, his hunger for learning and become better at this art has brought him to where he is now. Traveling throughout the world he has taught in various countries and states such as New York, Washington DC, Las Vegas, New Jersey, Texas, Germany, Canada, London, and Norway. His choreography credits include TM, TM Juniors, Choreographers Carnival in Hollywood, Culture Shock and Future Shock San Diego, TKSpin Masters of Movement, FORMALity & HI FI, CultureShock Oakland, Funkanometry San Diego, Second to none, Chill Factor, The Effect, Rising Star Dance Company, and Dance Center of Santa Rosa. MEET JAQUEL KNIGHT Born in North Carolina, but raised in Atlanta, GA, JaQuel has been dancing passionately since the age of 2. Beginning his formal dance training at the age of 14 with instructors such as Chuck Maldonado, Dave Scott, Brian Friedman and Shane Sparks, JaQuel soon realized that he wanted his passion to become a career. Moving to Los Angeles directly after graduating from high school, he began his journey to becoming a professional dancer and choreographer. After being in LA for only a week, he booked his first job with noted choreographer Fatima Robinson, for a principal role in P. Diddy’s music video, Diddy Rock. From there he went on to work with artist like Janet Jackson, Gnarls Barkley, DJ UNK and Soulja Boy and with choreographers Michael Rooney, Richard Jackson, and Miss Prissy. Then on to assist choreographers like Chuck Maldonado, Jae Blaze and Frank Gaston. Those opportunities resulted in choreographing the single and promo tour of We Break The Dawn for recording artist Michelle Williams, of Destiny’s Child, and the single Corazón (You’re Not Alone) for Latina Pop group, Prima J. Months later, JaQuel received a phone call from Frank Gatson, who had previously discovered his great choreography ability while working with Michelle Williams, to come in and choreograph Beyoncé new video for the single, Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It). MEET TOYBOX Jonathan Bronner.. (AKA).. Toybox was born in Pomona, California in 1986. He was introduced to raves and underground house music parties at the age of 17. Toybox was inspired by the dancers at these events and fell in love with the music and house dance right away. After a year of practicing only house, Toybox then decided to try something new, choreography. Joining teams such as Groove57(GRV), Common Ground, Mavyn, Chill Factor and Team Millennia, heexpanded his knowledge not only in house dance but in staging, performance, teaching and Hip-Hop. From that point on Toybox knew he wanted to take things to another level. After graduating High School, Toybox then spent two years training(developing his style) and choreographing for several teams in the dance community. Toybox’s choreography began to stand out at numerous dance shows and could be described as something new/different and refreshing! He now currently dances on Team Millennia as a freshmen and plans to further his dancing skills. Toybox’s house-influenced choreography has opened many teaching opportunities for him to pursue his dancing career. MEET JAY DEJESUS Jay De Jesus is a young choreographer, aspiring to establish his own style of the craft. He started out by joining the Las Vegas based team, Meccamee, and has expanded his knowledge since then. He is the team’s captain, enhancing tentativness and ensuring retention is on point. Being one of the lead choreographers for the team, his pieces have been featured in shows and competitions such as Battlefest Vegas, Boogie Wars, Set It Off, and Culture Shock’s Takin’ It To The Streets. He is the Special Events Coord for *Groove Community Dance and has taught classes at Studio 702 numerous times. Lately, he has been co-training and mentoring Meccamee’s new junior team, the Rascals. Jay is a highly disciplined, motivated dancer who wishes to share his knowledge and experience with other dancers in hopes to elevate their love for dance as well. Jay has been in the US Army since 2004 and will commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in August 2008. He attends the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, as a senior and will get his degree in Management Information Systems in August of 2008.

MEET IAN EASTWOOD Ian Eastwood, aka ICON began dancing at age 10. In 6 short years he has been a dancer and/or choreographer, member of the following companies: 312 (Dance 2xs LA) Redefinition, I.CAN.D, ICON Ent,. Dance 2Xs Chicago, IGNITE, Throwdown Entertainment, Giordano Dance (youth performance group) and One World Dance Theater. He has been awarded numerous extended scholarships to the Millennium Dance Complex/LA, and Broadway Dance Center/NYC, Alvin Ailey Extension and Debbie Reynolds. Other scholarships include Monsters of Hip Hop, and WCDE. Currently he is a 2009 Cast Member of Monsters of Hip Hop/The Show LA Winner of many competitions, including the Hall of Fame Nationals Solo Showdown Champion, Ian has appeared in Perkin’s “Seafood Stomp” National TV ad, received an invitation thru Gil Duldulao to a private audition for Janet Jackson, performed as backup dancer to Feenix Fenom, and is a frequently requested solo performer in many showcases, including Dance Chicago. Ian has taught 2 Boogiezone Community Classes and is a faculty member of The Millennium Dance Complex in N. Hollywood. He has hosted and taught 3-class collaboration/workshops with Nick DeMoura (New Kids on the Block, JoJo), Jaffar Smith (Omarion, Mariah Carey, Brandy, Ashanti, ABDC’s Boxcuttuhz) and Jillian Meyers (Janet Jackson, SoYou Think You Can Dance), taught/performed at St Peter’s College in New Jersey with Taeko (ABDC’s Fysh n’ Chicks) and is currently scheduled to teach workshops in Mexico …
