BZ Community Class- Krisuan- solo

MEET KRISUAN ROSALEJOS Krisuan Christopher Rosalejos, aka ‘Super Swan’, was born in San Francisco & raised in San Jose/Bay Area. At the age of 5, he discovered Break Dancing from Ricky Castro of the breaking crew, Jeprox, and began his life as a b-boy. In 1991-1994, he held open sessions in his garage with people from Planet Rock Crew, Jughead Tribe, and even world famous Tommy Boy of Style Elements Crew. Jams and sessions became his life for the next 9 years. In 2003, he wanted to venture into choreography where he danced with Soul Nation. 10 months after, he went back to his roots as a b-boy. In 2004, he was discovered breaking in a circle with Kaba Modern at Battlefest Jrs by Funkanometry SF Artistic Director, Emerson Aquino. From then on, he found his home in choreography with Funks SF & at the same time, found & directed a crew called Booftroop. Booftroop has opened for artists such as Furious, Mr. Sef, The Diligentz, & Traxamillion. They became the closing act of ‘LIVE SF 2006′ which headlined Christina Millian and more. Krisuan has worked with artists such as Raz-B(B2K), Mr. Sef, Holly Rae, Victor ‘Pappi Grande’ Saragosa, Raw, Kim Del Fiero, Immij, Desi, and the Black Eyed Peas. Gabriel Francisco started dancing in The Bay. He then moved to San Diego where he became a dancer/choreographer for Culture Shock San Diego. MEET JOHN GILLETTE John Gillette was born on an Airbase in Germany. He came to the US when he was three and lived in Michigan until he was ten. Due to his father being in the Air Force, John moved to Montgomery, Alabama. While hanging out at a teen club when he was thirteen, john met Stephen “Twitch” Boss, and they battled in dance for 30 minutes straight! From then on, they teamed up and decided to form a crew called “Dream Team”. They adopted moves from the inspirational movie “Breakin’”, and ended up dancing together for the next few years until Stephen went to college. Motivated to leave the small town as well, John graduated high school one year early to enlist in the military. At the tender age of 17, he enlisted in the Air Force for 3.5 years as an F-15 jet engine mechanic. During his tenure serving our country, John was given the opportunity to sing the National Anthem on a weekly basis for all of his commanders. Realizing his potential in entertainment, the Air Force released him. John then settled down in Florida. While John was working hard in the military, his friend Stephen was working hard in Los Angeles on the Wade Robson Project airing on MTV. John went to LA to visit his friend and that motivated him to start dancing again. Once returning to Florida, John called every dance studio in the area in search of a teaching gig. Finally, he got his chance and he made the most of it. After teaching for about a year he learned about a competition called “Fashion

This was a class you did not want to miss! David J. Moore is one talented young dancer, having being signed with MSA, one of the premiere talent agencies in California. MEET ALEXIS AVILA Alexis Avila started dancing when she was 16 years old at Artesia High School. As a child, Alexis was involved in Beauty Pagents and acting classes, but never took a dance class till after high school. Immediately addicted, Alexis was overwhelmed because learning new aspects of dance ignited a thirst in her that she couldn’t deny. A friend from Team Millennia advised her to audition for their upcoming tryouts, and although scared, Alexis knew she was up for the challenge. Alexis made the auditions that year, and remained on the team for three more years. It is here where she began to craft leadership experience as the Captain of TM Juniors, thriving as their leader for 2 years. Alexis eventually explored other groups over time, performing with Team Boogiezone Breed for over a year. She has also made the jump from Captain to Director, creating her own team called Sheroes, a group of strong-minded women whose focus is centered not only on dance, but also on service. Sheroes donates all funds they earn directly to various charities, among which include The Take A Stand foundation, and The Jennesse Center, a program dedicated to women who’ve suffered domestic Violence. Alexis eventually returned to the Team Millennia family, competing alongside her teammates (affectionately known as the “TM7″), for both Seasons 2 and 3 of MTV’s America ‘s Best Dance Crew. Alexis continues to hone her craft together with her fellow teammates, and has now come back as a

Brian “B Free” Friedman can be recently seen as the judge from Fox’s #1 hit show “So You Think You Can Dance?” His choreography credits include Britney Spears, Usher, Beyonce, Prince, Mya, *NSync, Pink, Aaron Carter, Ashanti, Hilary Duff, Christina Milian, Paris Hilton, That 70′s Show, Will & Grace, and Ellen Degeneres. MEET LINDSEY “OUT THERE” BLAUFARB LinsdeyB was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She started off in musical theater and athletics, then later started hip hop dancing at the age of 16. She is inspired by her own members of the BEAT FREAKS, having admired them before joining the group. She has been on tour with Pink and choreographed/danced for Avril Lavigne. Because Lindsey pulls her randomly genius creative ideas from a wide range of experiences she has been called Outthere’ by many of her peers. This makes her an outstanding choreographer, dancer, singer and teacher.

MEET AUSTIN FERNANDEZ Austin Fernandez is a dance force to be reckoned with. Born in Manhattan, NYC, Austin currently resides in Chino Hills where he just graduated and is now a new student of Visual Communications at FIDM – The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Austin began dancing at High School Rallies and TM Juniors. He is a Breed Alumni and is currently competing with Team Millennia. Over the years, Austin has become known for his amazing stage performance and most recently noted for his choreography talent.

MEET JAY CHRIS MOORE Jay-Chris has been dancing since 2000 where he started with Pulse Dance Troope out of the OC in Southern California. He then moved on to dance with Culture Shock Los Angeles and Pac Modern for 4 years. During this time, he co founded an all male hip hop crew called Chill Factor. He has also danced for Funkanometry LA and now currently dances for Mavyn Entertainment, Supa Frendz Crew as well as Chill Factor. DISCLAIMER: For Inspirational purposes only.
