Is there anywhere to take Ballroom dance lessons in Lubbock or Levelland Texas?

My husband and I would like to take beginner lessons. I am more advanced them him, but he needs to start at the beginning. We live in Levelland, and would not want to travel more than 30 minutes to take classes.
Thank you for your google help, but Dee’s Dance studio is closed. Anything else to suggest?

Does Anyone know where I can get beginner dance lessons for my parents for their 20th wedding anniversary? They used to go dancing when I was a lot younger, but have stopped since, and I know they enjoyed it very much. I am looking for a place not too far from the GTA, where they can learn a mix of dances (salsa, meringue, foxtrot etc)…but most importantly it needs to have flexible hours or classes on friday evenings.

Because I’m a huge fan of the show Dancing With The Stars and whenever I watch the show I practically find myself off the couch trying to imitate the choroegraphed moves I decided that it’s time I get myself some ballroom dance lessons. I found out that my school is giving ballroom dance lessons for a really cheap price. how much effort is needed? I want to learn as many dances as possible. A friend of mine who’s already in the class said that I already have the basic moves down and that I need a teacher to help me with stuff like posture and doing the moves correctly. My friend also said that I’m already ahead because I already know the differences between all the dances. How much will that actually help me? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.
I’m just going to go with the flow. Right now I’m going to take group lessons so i can be with my friends. If the teacher thinks I’m good that I can get to competition level I’ll consider private lessons or competing.

I am taking a beginner ballroom dancing class tonight, and they say on their website to wear shoes that don’t have rubber soles… what kind of shoes from the shoe store would be a good pair to buy and wear for tonight? I don’t want to invest in a high-quality pair of ballroom dancing shoes just yet, if I decide to not continue the lessons. Any ideas?

Anyone know of a place in Manhattan to take ballroom dancing lessons, where they have open or “drop in” classes? (Just go when you actually have time). I don’t want to have to do private lessons to learn.
