Should I take ballroom dancing?
Mar 24th
I’m sixteen years old and I have a history in ballet. Where can I take it in Plano, Tx? I’m afraid I’d be in a class with all old people because I’m a beginner and all people my age would be really advanced… Also, how much would it cost? And would I take group type classes? Because I don’t want to take private lessons.
Ballroom Dancing shoes?
Mar 22nd
Im taking ballroom classes and high heel shoes are compulsory at tonights lesson, I am not very confident in heels, and only have a couple of pairs that I wear when I go out. My question is, do you think it is okay to wear peep toes heels that are just higher than medium height to my class tonight?

Are there any middle aged gay guys in Mid Coast Maine looking for a middle aged gay female ballroom dance partner?I’ve just started lessons and want to find a dance partner that might be interested in taking a class with me.
Right now I’m still learning the basic steps but I really want to learn the rhythm dances in particular the Rumba and the West Coast Swing.

I just started taking ballroom dancing and my crush is in it…should I?
Mar 11th
I just started ballroom dancing lessons. My crush is in the class, and he’s the only one taller than me so I have an excuse to ask. But he’s really popular and I don’t know what he thinks of me. What if he thinks I’m a creep and says no?
Ballroom dancing question?
Mar 10th
Okay , this may seem like a silly question, but I really don’t know , so I am going to ask.
My husband and I have been thinking about taking ballroom dancing lessons. I think it would be a lot of fun. The thing I am concerned about is our height difference. I have observed a class and all of the couples in the class were pretty well matched in height. Anytime I have seen ballroom dancing on television, the couples always seem pretty well matched in heiht. My husband is 6’4″ and I am 5’2 1/2″. Is this generally a problem when trying to learn or is it easily overcome. It just seems to me that this would make things a bit more difficult and awkward? Any advice??
How can I inexpensively become a better ballroom dancer?
Mar 9th
I’ve just completed a 15 week (one-semester), 50 minute per session, twice a week college class in Beginning Ballroom Dancing, and while I enjoy it a lot, I’ve not received good feedback from my instructor regarding my dancing.
Telling me that I’m not dancing well (with no specifics) is not leading me to a specific action plan on how to dance better in the future, so I thought I should ask here and see what responses I can get that I can use to become a better ballroom dancer.
I already plan on re-enrolling under another instructor during the summer term, perhaps at a different college.
I’m living off of savings and financial aid, so professional private lessons are not affordable at this time.
