@aleerox sorry i love rap and would love to try it but i am aus, what is a spank in ? and a nerve tap ?
i am a tapper from australia and i love its o much i would love to put some videos up bvut i never know what to do in them and i am scared everyone will think there terrible
I love wings!!
really loving these videos!!
I agree with britishfilms101 not advanced tap, this is just intermediate. Basic three beat wings are not that difficult.
I love wings too.
my teacher and i were just talking about how to swich the single wing from right to left. This really helped me and told me that i need to have a stronger single wing to change it. oh well that just means i need more practice.
lol
This isn’t advanced…. This is intermediate and she also forgot cross wings and alternate.
I love doing wings <3
beautiful!
wings are a killer on your legs lol
i love dance!!!
tap dancing is the best >:]
try doing like a million various wings in a ROW then like a million pull backs…. e_o blisters and pain…. lol i still love tap !!! (:
hey aleerox…. i just tried that wing you described…it’s cool! (I think I’m doing it right) The trick to wings is pulling up through your body, you can’t be heavy on your feet. I think it’s dangerous for beginners to attempt wings without building up the strength and suppleness in your ankles… You should start out on the barre, and always warm up first.
I always learned the two footed wing is a single wing, the one footed wing is called a one footed wing, -and a double wing would consist of scrapping out on one foot, scrapping out on the other, spank stepping in on the foot that first scraped and doing the same on the other. Thats just how I see it. Now if you really want a challenge, try doing a five count wing. Its a two footed wing with a nerve tap in the middle of the scrape out and the spank in. I’m the only one I know that can do it
i missed the first couple of weeks of my tap class (sick) and i got back and i had no idea how to do a double wing, thank you for making this video!!!! it taught me the steps.
-_- try doing about 30 double wings! THEN try doing a million toe stands without getting a freakin blood blister under ur toenail! BTW why is it that the single wings are harder?
i think shes great at it but not good at teaching but thats all right cause i just looked up this stuff to see what advanced was then i realised i already knew everything so… i dont mind but not so good for those who are actually trying to learn
me too!
last year was my 1st year to take tap, and we tryed the double wing. and i just didnt get it. this really helped break it down in my head, and i get it now!!
thanx
She’s in the middle of the room, I don’t think she’s using the barre.
Wow she’s good-could someone tell me how to get the spank in though i can’t do it!
nah, just came across the video and suddenly all memory came flooding back to me.. not so bad though X3
then y r u watching this video??
i used to hate wings and no i love them!
thanks this really helped
thats exactly what i thought, she looks like shes holdin a bar! xx
I wonder if she was holding on the barre…they never showed the top of her body and to make them look so clean…could she have been pressing on the barre?
I hate the wing changes! At my studio we call them swap wings. I just learned them last week and I cannot get them!
